Was at Cabelas Thursday and they had a black P238, w/black wood grips and night sights on sale for $649...
Being a long time 1911 guy, how could I resist?:p

72 hour waiting period ends at 2:30pm. Should be able to get there and home before the Bears/Packers game.:D

I own the P238 SAS version. Plus I own a Colt Mustang Pocketlight. Both are great, but my Sig is a bit greater. Oh, wait, my Colt is a bit greater. Dammit, I can't remember which one is greater. I thinkest it's time to go to the range....again.

I'm not a cocked and locked kind of guy.
Did carry my HK USP 45 like that briefly just to give it a try.
That mode of carry really requires some big time training to be proficient with for me.

Still, I shoot a 1911 better than any other type of auto.
I think as some point I must have one...

Do have two classic Sig DA/SA SRT autos.
They are truly fine weapons.

Enjoy your new gun - I'm jealous

An older friend of mine carried a 238, his had that rainbow finish on it. Looked pretty sharp. He was getting arthritis in his hands so bad that the long pull of a DAO pistol was getting difficult for him to deal with. The 238 did the trick for him, although I was bit surprised he went to .380, as he had been carrying a CW45. I imagine he probably would have went with the 939 9mm, had it been available back then. He really liked that 238 though, it went everywhere with him. And never had a problem with it.

Those are fun to shoot, and I mean that in the best way. The 7 round mag makes it easier and really transforms it, but it's nice with the 6 rounder too.

They are very, very fun to shoot. Went to the range today and ran just over a box of ammo through it. Just loved it. Very controllable for the size.

It's a winner! :D

Outstanding. That's what we like!

Now you'll have to buy a Kahr 9 to keep it company. :amflag:

My wife wants one. She refuses to get a revolver and the Sig is the only gun she can rack the slide easily. She keeps changing her mind which one though. First wanted the Rosewood, then the Equinox, and now she wants the Pearl handled one!

Ahhh....btdt and have had to deal with the thunder in my head as well. The Sig, lord help me, is the better gun.
