Made it to the range with only 1 hour to spare before it closed. I was able to still get in 100 rounds without any problems. I was sighting in my new Crimson Trace laser. I was able to get some nice groups, and when they say a little adjustment does a lot, they are not kidding. I was over adjusting with what I thought was just a small amount. I was able to get it close and had to call it a day. I will return for a final adjustment and another range report soon. Kahr is 3 for 3 so far!! I was Blazer 9mm 50 rds and Winchester white box 50 rds. Perfect performance so far. I find I can shoot the CM9 with the Crimson Trace much better than with iron sights. I just concentrate on the hold, squeezing the trigger and keeping the dot on center.
Good review. Glad to hear it.

I'm sold on lasers for training but am uncertain about whether they'd be overall a plus or minus for civilian SD carry.

One thing I noticed, as with all things, the more you shoot it the better you get. I was able to find the dot and get it back on center fairly quickly. I used the dot as the aiming point, not the iron sights, but I would use the iron sights momentarily to "find" the dot after firing. I think it would probably work out well for SD carry, you use the iron sights somewhat get your dot on target and then the laser takes over from there. Actually, the entire flat top of the pistol works as a rough sight to get the dot on target pretty well. I was almost able to rapid fire it after the first 50-60 rounds, except rapid fire is not allowed on that range. Guys next to me started doing some rapid fire, the range master quickly put an end to that. Now I'm considering laser grip sights for my 1911. Oh, to have young eyes again. Nice thing about the laser, is if you pull the shot, I found I could tell I did by watching the laser. I knew immediately that was not a good shot. Get back on target and fire again.
