considering the lows we've had in our little corner of the world in this recent nasty global warming blast, and the highs we had summer before last, we've seen a 100° temperature variation right here in Stumpwater, North East Texas. I tend to do better in the 114° temps myself.

Coldest I've ever been, was on a ski trip to Copper Mountain, CO. The days high was -23, with the wind chill making it somewhere around -85 or so. I don't remember what the days low temp was, or if it ever changed. I layered up, and did one run down the mountain, and spent most of the rest of the day in the hot tub trying to thaw out. (at least the hot tub was in a semi enclosed area, just no roof, with a dry heat sauna you could get in to dry off) The worst part was riding the ski lift up. where you are totally exposed to the wind. Once I got on the mountain and skiing it wasn't so bad, but I wasn't going to ride that ski lift up the mountain again. The next day was totally different, sun shining, and warm enough to ride the lift without freezing, and very little wind. We are supposed to have one more day of below freezing high temps, then they are predicting it to warm up to normal March temps.
