Got a 7 round mag for my CW380. What a joke. The plastic isn't the same as the handle. The extended plastic piece is thinner than the handle. It doesn't extend the whole way to the back. It moves when you grip the gun.
I can't believe they even make an extended mag with this little of thought put behind it.
Here's a picture of it next to the S&W Shield with extended mag

I found the extended mags work best as backup mags.....where looks don't matter as much. Some don't use them at all but I've had good luck with them. I use a Pearce mag extension ground down to half size on my primary 6rd mag (mk9).

I have a few as well but just use them at the range.

Extended mags defeat the concept of concealed carry.

Yes and no. I also prefer the 6 rounder for carrying in the gun. But I maintain that the Kahr extended mags are sleeker than some others and fit well in your pocket....therefore make good backups/reloads....as long as they run right in your gun. It doesn't bother me that they are ugly.

That's pitiful. I'm glad when I ordered my spare magazine I opted for the 6 rounder.

Yeah, it's pathetic. It's also going back and I'll be getting another 6 rounder

Am I crazy, or is that a picture of some other brand of firearm. I've never seen a Kahr with the mag release on the bottom.

+1. My p380 came with one of each. 7 rounder obviously intended as an easy carry backup. If you start with 1 in the chamber you get 7 shots with the primary 6 round mag, then 7 more. Very consistent. Doesn't noticeably alter the shooting grip or anything else and works fine. I like it.

Ok, someone has made aluminum extensions for the Kahr 380. I found this expired listing on Armslist (Florida seller with no other listings so there is no way to contact). I want some of these! I don't care about an extra round. I would however like them for range practice comfort and I like the look of the aluminum over the pearce plastic.

Has anyone tried the pierce +0 extension for tke kahr 380. They get terrible reviews online.

You are right, especially some steel flush-fit mags for the other CW & P series.

I'm surprised that anyone was taken aback by the appearance of the extra-round mag. Same thing they do for the CW9, photos are everywhere on the net, and videos on youtube. It's slim and light and works. Mine was exactly what I expected it would be...

Yep. I carry the flush-fitting metal based mag in the pistol for maximum concealment and the high-capacity 7-rounder in a Kydex mag holder opposite side for a reload. Those hi-caps are good for the range or reload carry... don't need the girly pinky rests on anything. Two fingers works for me... .380 through .45 with my Kahrs... more MANLY, too!

It's a weapon made for killing. It's not a work of art. It works fine.
