Took the babies to the range today. Put 50 rounds thru the PM9. It performed flawlessly. Put another 50 through the PM45 and Boom Boom ate them like candy. I did notice that the PM45 definitely has a shorter trigger pull than the PM9. Both these guns are a joy to shoot.:33:
Total round count through the PM9 is 300, no hiccups of any kind, PM45 is 255 and no hiccups. I love these guns.

Agreed! How did you stop at 50? You run out. I had planned on a nice leisurely 100 or so and finally quit at just under 300. You think I'm a ammo hog? Which reminds me I gotta get personal with my reloading press again. The Tiny won out over the progressive loader, maybe next time.

I didn't run out of ammo, I ran out of time. Had planned on running 200 rounds through the babies, but had to leave.

Well every cloud has a copper lining? now you still got the other 100 for next time. Something to look forward too. I gotta get me one of them paper routes to make a little ammo money now, the well ain't dry but we're definitely watering on odd days for sure.

Ok so I'm not the only one that thinks the PM45 has a shorter trigger
stroke than the 9's and 40's?
My PM45 has a smoother, lighter and shorter stroke. Kind of catches me
off guard first couple of shots.

I'm hoping to get out Thurs or Friday to test out my new recoil assembly in the PM45. Purely for errrr.......research and testing purposes:)

Thanks for the report. With last weeks troubles, trying to find a car for my daughter and a trip to Vegas coming up my buying power has fizzled out. After I recoop I'll be getting a PM45 myself. I think it's strange how the trigger's feel different from one model to the next. Of all the ones I have I like the trigger on my P9's the best.

While fondling the Tupperware last night, I was dry firing a bit and the P380 seems to have the looongest trigger pull... at least in dry firing. For kicks I was trying to see if I could get all three into my "travel safe"... just isn't possible... any two, including the K9 and PM45 together, but not three... just a test.
I forget who was just complaining about how easy the base came off the .380 magazines... yep. When I put my thumb on the rear it just slides right off... while empty. Hey, this is a feature... easy off.

I agree, it catches me offguard at first too. It fires quickly. That's why I think it's important to practice, so you know how the weapon fires cause each one is different.:yo:

I'd be curious to find out if you feel that way once you get your PM45. The more I shoot it the better I like it's trigger. I think "Boom Boom" is my favorite gun. Let us know when you get yours....until then I'll be pullin for ya.:9:
