I don't get out to the range all that often so it's been awhile since this problem occurred, but the last time I was out, my Kahr MK9 stopped firing mid-string after cycling. The trigger simply pulled back dead, I think I even hand cycled the slide again and still nothing. It seems that it's not cocking. I can't see anything visibly that seems to be wrong with a field strip. Any ideas?
You should be able to pull the right side grip panel and see how the trigger bar is doing. Could be the spring is not in place, which holds the trigger bar up (sort of like the issue that Sig has with their classic P 22x series). The other issue could be the cocking cam spring being broken. You should be able to tell that too by manipulating things (UNLOADED !!!!) with the right grip panel off.

Could it be a problem with the striker block or striker block spring?

Great suggestions! I'll check on them all, thank you! And yes, unloaded - lol I'm a newb on here but not to guns, but always good to check, safety is paramount. I was in the Marine Corps, gun safety was one of the biggest thing they drilled into our heads. My Kahr was actually my first personally purchased pistol, in 2005.
