Jury is still out. Didn't see the price. Of all things, still not available in the 40?

From their FAQs [But how many in a "box"?]...

Q: Has [sic] how much does it cost?

A box of 45ACP has a M.S.R.P. of $60.00; but most dealers are selling it competitively at a Street Price of $49.99. A box of 12ga Mi-billets has a M.S.R.P. of $35.00 but most dealers are selling it competitively at a Street Price of $29.99. Less expensive than one would expect!

33 min vid. I was impressed, at least a little. Not so much with the presentation, but the technology.

I'd like to see some gel tests and distance shots on paper to see the "closing" pattern they claim. I think I would rather double tap.

If you're going to be that far off of your intended target, get some more range time, and some training. I would be afraid that this may seem like a replacement for shooting time, and give a false sense of security.

What about the stat that he used, something like 75-93% first shot misses? It is those first shot misses that the engineer is claiming the bullet remedies. I think the argument would be that we all can't train like elite service and police personnel are able to train.

I do agree with you that technology such as this should not be a replacement for range time and training.

Something similar was tried before and failed. this will too. Nothing but a quickly passing fad.

Maybe the stats are correct, but if you are going to be that far off, shooting under pressure, I don't see how this "remedy" will make things much better. Isn't that why we have large capacity magazines? No, definitely, most of us can't all train like LE and elite services, but, when you have the capability of between 7-17 rds. per mag these days, I would think that some of the rds. are going to hit home. If not, you shouldn't be carrying.........you'd be a detriment to society.http://kahrtalk.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Getting hit by a single 230 grain projectile seem far more lethal to me then getting hit by one 76 grain projectile. Just sayin. How the hell could anyone brag about the size of their group using this ammo?

Interesting technology, but not for me either. However, who knows where it might lead. Spiderman might love it.
