I finally got a chance to take my P380 back to the range today for some more action, using 150 rounds of Magtech FMJ. On the second magazine I had one FTE where the spent casing got trapped by the slide as it closed on a fresh round. The remaining shots were uneventful until near the end when I deliberately girlie-wristed it in my weak hand and got another spent case trapped in the closing slide. Considering it used to fail to go more than 50 rounds before getting sluggish and starting to malfunction I guess that's an improvement. Maybe the little bugger is starting to limber up a bit after all.

Nice. Suggest keeping it well cleaned (including the magazines) and lubed per the diagram.

Trust me, I won't carry it unless it's squeaky-clean and well lubed, with gun grease on the rails and CLP everywhere else. Up until now it would work perfectly up until the fouling started to build up, then all bets were off. This is the most ammo I've put down the tube in one sitting without it misbehaving (aside from the one no-fault FTE). Magtech ammo seems to be pretty dirty stuff as well so I would consider this an encouraging sign at least.
