I was bored last weekend, so I stopped by a Cabelas and found a lightly used CW9 with 1 mag and factory box for $299. I got an employee pricing flyer in the mail in December. So, total cost out the door was $276. I only own two other pistols, a Glock 17 and a Glock 26 (which I CCW). I wasn't in the market for a new pistol, but I'd heard a lot about Kahr quality, the gun felt great in my hand, and the price was right. I picked up 4 new mags at Midwayusa.com on clearance for $23 and change each. Now I need make a trip to the range. :)

Took my CW9 out today and ran 150 rounds of 115 gr FMJ through it and a mag of ccw hollow points. It ran great. Recoil was less than I expected. My palm is rubbed a little raw from the aggressive checkering on the grip, but no big deal. I have to say, I'm thinking of selling my G26 and putting the funds towards another Kahr 9mm. I'm thinking a K9. :)

AV,
Congrats on your find. I installed Talon rubber grips on my CW380, and it really takes away that bite and makes it stickier, as well, but doesn't change the contour at all, if you are happy with how the gun feels in-hand.

Just got my first Kahr CW9. I've only taken it to the range once and I was happy with it. I bought it used so it seems fairly well broken in. I want to break it all the way down and see if there is anything that I can learn in these forums to make it shoot better and/or keep it shooting well. I like it very much.
