If you do, make it light. It won't hurt, but nor will it help much other than corrosion prevention. The guide rod is plastic, therefore it and the spring are very low friction items.

I don't use any lube on my striker parts at all. I figure most any oil on the spring will tend to navigate into the striker channel when the gun is carried, and would rather not have that happen. The striker isn't a high friction assembly so it really doesn't need the lube, in my opinion. And as you probably already know, you mix enough lube with powder residue and tiny brass flakes that get retracted into the striker channel when stuck to oily goo, it will just lead to problems you don't want to have. When I clean my striker fired pistols, the only thing that goes into the striker channel is a couple of good blasts of pressurized solvent to flush out anything that may have found it's way in. I start by spraying directly into the striker/firing pin hole in the breech face, then into the clean out hole in the underside of the slide.
