Interesting observation, I ordered a guide rod from Steve Bedair. The first one was about 1mm short. (I didn't specify a CW380, just a Kahr 380). Second one almost could be .5mm longer, but looking at factory photos the Bedair guide rod matches the CW380 photo NOT protruding past the slide. In fact, just short. It cycles just fine, and I see no parts #'s for the cw380 yet. Could the slide be slightly longer? Kinda looks like it in the pictures below. CW barrel is 2.58" vs 2.53" on the P. Specs show CW is 4.96" oal vs p being 4.9". Factory photos for reference. I wish I could find a parts list to compare item numbers, but I have a feeling the same guiderod is being used in both based upon the pics even though the CW is likely slightly longer.

Is there any concern for the guide rod not fully extending out the side?

Look at the muzzle end of the slide and you will see that the CW has more slide showing between the end of the slide and the polymer frame than the P slide. This indicates to me that the CW slide is a little longer than the P slide. If Kahr uses the same guide rod for each model the guide rod will be slightly inside the slide on the CW vs the P.

Kahrs website shows the CW380 overall length to be .06" longer than the P380. Must be the reason for 2 different length guide rods.

I'm thinking based upon the picture they are using only 1 size and it's the same part for both models, hence the P looking flush or slightly sticking out and the CW barely pokes through the hole. Bedair custom made it 1mm longer, but then This morning I emailed him of this finding.
