The CT40 & CT45 look interesting, but I think the 1911 market is pretty well saturated. Personally, I think a T45 would have been a better addition to the product line.

Actually they could do both. The new 1911's are in the DE family, the CT's are in the Kahr family.
And we still got Thompson and Auto Ordnance under the umbrella also.

Is this an awesome family or what.

Couple of my guys are down at SHOT as we speak, pestering the Kahr folks in my behalf. Told em to tell the Kahr model nice things about me, ok they'd be bald faced lies but can't hurt.

Wish I was there. Don't much care for crowds though, or flying, or TSA.

Looks interesting... I'm not a 40 or 45 guy. If I wanted a full size id probably buy a double stack.

Bawanna I too would like to go back to SHOT again. Friends who are there said it is way more crowded than in past years.

Are LEOs considered "industry" members? I thought that a Regular Joe can't get into the show. Have to be famous (say Hickok45) or work for a vendor or something.

Yes LEO is pretty much a ticket in. 3 of my guys are there, one is a firearms instructor so he probably qualifies. The others are detectives and on swat, ones a sniper.

I could get in because I purchase firearms and accessories for my department so they said I was good to go.

It seems they are relaxing the get in criteria a bit. Also I was told no pictures but my guys have been sending me pics. Everyone has a cell phone so probably hard to stop that part.

They did say that signing up/registering early and getting your badge and stuff prior to the show was a huge blessing. The lines to do so at the door were extremely long and time consuming. They were able to just walk in like they owned the joint. One of the guys pretty much does that all the time anyhow.

If I ever go I'm gonna hook up with JohnH or somebody real important so I can sail through like a somebody too.

Too bad, we just got back from Vegas Christmas Eve.

One of these days we will go out there when they have that big time gun show. I forget what it's called.
