New S&W revolvers for 2014

Got an email from S&W about their new 2014 offerings being introduced at SHOT this month........First is a return of their model 66 stainless K frame Combat Magnum 6 shot .357 with a 4.25 inch non lug barrel....Nice but not much new except the return of a classic.......The other is pretty cool for a woods heavy duty carry revolver.......It's a model 69 Combat Magnum stainless L frame 5 shot .44 mag with the same 4.25 non lug barrel...As for me the .44 L frame has got my interests and charge card heating up....So many guns, so little time!!!

Be nice if they'd truly return to the classic and lose the ignition key. They don't hurt nothing long as you don't ever use them but they are ugly and they remind me of a horrible time in the past.

Stick it to the man and lose the key.

Agree, maybe they will offer some without the lock....I finally found my current 642 J frame without that slober knocker looking lock and I wont ever part with her....It cost me a Franklin extra to get a gun WITHOUT a so called safety feature....:confused:

when I retired from the gun busness I broght home with me a half dozen J frames pre lock version. I sold them on line and never realy thought about jacking the price up , as I really never thought about it either. I guess I now know tha tis wny no once ever hassled me on my asking prics for it must have been more than fair and I do remember about every b uyer asking if it was prelock. dumb me. I should stick to sheep as I know sumpin about them. huh?? Jus sayin
