:D
Found a nice, well kept HK 416-22 carbine, Made by Walther/ Umarex. This is the perfect partner for the HK MP5-22 I bought last summer. I'd been on the fence about buying when this one popped up on a local private sale site I use. If it's as much fun as the MP5, then I should be in .22lr heaven. Now I need a optic to go with it.;)

Ripley16,
Nice of the previous owner to buy the extra magazines. They are not cheap. I've owned one for going on a year and since Umarex/Walther makes the Colt version, their 30 round mags work perfectly in your new 416. The only difference is they are gray.
They like high velocity CCI's if you can find them, but you are going to be surprised how accurate your new weapon is. The only thing I changed on mine was the grip. It didn't fit very well, so I replaced it with a Magpul AR soft rubber grip. It does require you to drill another hole in the grip to make it fit.
When I bought it, I tought is was going to be more of a toy, but it really surprised me.

That's what made it a pretty good deal... a $100 worth of extra mags. I gave the seller $500 total, so I figure the carbine was actually $400. I see them routinely sell for over $550 new.
I have a small stash of minimags, about 2000, and about another 2K or so of other brands. I bought some Winchester M22 at a gun show a little while ago that is labeled over 1200 fps, so it should work. I just need the weather to break a bit warmer and get some free time.
I have the 416 as well as a newly acquired a FEG SMC .22, a Walther PP in .22 and a PSA baby browning in .25 to test out. I'm ahead in my buying and behind in my shooting.
