I lurked here for a long time before buying my KAHR. I appreciate all the info I found here, it helped make my decision so much easier.
Just brought it home after the 10 day waiting period here in Cali.
First thing I did was strip it and polish all the moving parts to make the trigger a little smoother. Then the feed ramp and trigger face were smoothed out as well.
I bought this as a whole system.
CW9

Kholster (not pictured)

Extended mag
And for the price, it is a VERY solid system.
So I just wanted to say HI

HAHAHAHA
I have a tattoo. And I have added to it 3 times, and had it touched up several times as well. (gotta keep it lookin good, right?)
I think my GirlFriend is gonna steal this one from me.
I may end up with a Kahr CW45 in the near future. No complaints there :)

Just went to the range for the first time with my CW9.
Put 250 rounds of FMJs through it without a single huck-up
I was impressed with many things;
It comes back to point quickly for follow up shots
It has less recoil than expected
the grip was actually comfortable
and the accuracy is way better than what is expected from a 3.5" barrel.
Our targets today were oranges. We ate a few oranges, and shot a few.
At 20 yards the orange is a 100% hit if you take your time. But in the orange races (2 people shooting fruit to the finish line) it was a more rapid fire situation that kinda took accuracy down to about 50%
All in all I am impressed with this gun.
The fit and finish needs to be cleaned up a little, I have some polymer frame bits that need to be smoothed down back by the rear of the slide.
But other than that it appears to be a well designed and well built pistol.
I am very happy with my new purchase

Now that's what we like to hear, good stuff there. I like the use of the oranges too, great reactive target. Again, welcome and keep us appraised of the new gems.

rglbeg!. More than likely even more rounds out of ur cw9 willsmooth out anything under that slide. Ifu do workon it just some very fine 600+ grit auto sand paper will smooth out those spots. go slowly, Nice gun, the kind of results that kahrs seem to be giving more and more these days.
Personally an orange at 20 yards for me is extremely safe, and I mean extremely. Now with my G19, it is in deep trouble. I tend to lean towards the watermelons at 20 yards with my PM9..
