CW380 for $334

Availability must be catching up with demand. I saw a dealer with a new CW380 priced at $334 yesterdays Tyler gun show.


I do have a question though. Why is it a CW380 not a CM380, are they going to produce a smaller one? Has anyone photographed a CM9 and CW380 together for a size comparison? I am currently using the CM9 for pocket carry. Would the CW380 represent a significant difference in size?

I had a PM9 which I tried to pocket carry. Worked with cargo shorts but not at all with jeans. Bought a CW380 and I can pocket carry it in anything so for me yes there is a big enough difference in size. Got mine at Vance's in Columbus Oh for $319 + tax. Sale is on till the end of this month.

BlueCore here in Round Rock advertises CW380 for $301.23, but they are "out of stock":

I see Ruger is introducing their LCP 380 with a stainless slide in February, but the MSRP is $50 more than the standard model. Think I'll get me a CW380 instead.

I am not a big fan of pocket carrying my LCP in jeans either. I much prefer lazy open carry.

Drewski, what pocket holster are you using that works with jeans?

I'm not Drewski, but I regularly carry my Kahr P380 in a jeans pocket. Two things; first, don't wear super tight jeans, but they don't need to be ghetto baggy either. I use a Stellar Rigs kydex pocket holster. It squares off the shape of the gun, so it looks rectangular, like a phone or wallet. Even when it prints, you don't get the L-shape that's such a give away with some of the nylon pocket holsters.
