I'm having a problem my sights just won't seem to stay on the screw holes stripped and I've tried just about everything and ideas on how I could get them to stay on for good? Any help is appreciated

Never looked at an aluminum one. Wonder if a rivet would be tight enough to hold. Some used to be riveted on as I recall. I could be wrong on that.

I have them riveted now with some rivets you don't need a gun to install... One range trip and they popped out

Well that was a great idea that didn't work worth a damn.
I shall ponder this.

Okay, I would try epoxy and pop rivets to hold it in place until the epoxy sets.

Would it be feasible to drill and tap for the next larger size screw, or would that be too easy?
Loctite-Red is said to be near permanent and actually needs heat to break the seal. Depending on how much play you have this may be the solution?
Further... You may have some luck with a tap without re-drilling to a larger size. I have found that occasionally I can use the same size tap to just clean and re-set the threads. Then use the Loctite and tighten just to the point of "snug." Never tried this on a gun but it has been the solution several times around the boat.

This is what I used on mine, and have never had an issue. One of my buddies used rivets, but they look kinda weird. ;)
