FNH introduced two new guns at this year’s SHOT Show –
the FN 15 Rifle and the FN 15 Carbine.
Although the company built these guns for law enforcement and the military for many years,
these are their first semi automatic variants of the M16 and M4 that FNH has built for the commercial market.
The guns both have hard anodized aluminum alloy lowers with carbon steel, chrome lined barrels.

Talk of the commercial FN 20" has been going around for years. Glad to see they've got it and the M4 16" in the commercial channels.

Aside from the very very cool FN logo, the actual rifle should be nearly identical to a Colt LE6920, or the same with a Govt profile (mid weight) barrel and "E2" handguards up front. Differences will be in sights and other included 3rd party "standard features", such as Colt's MagPul model, or whether FN uses rail mounted backup sights or a carry handle with sights. Thats all just window dressing. The actual technical spec for materials used, finish applied (and how), all the sizes and tolerances, production spec (how its to be made), and just about every and any thing you could imagine, should be identical as FN and Colt are the military suppliers of record, and each rifle would be as close to getting a military issued rifle, or carbine, as you can get in every respect.
