I have it down to the bare 6-round mag with flat metal base plate, and still get one failure to feed out of 50 rounds. Overall since I got it, it's had 4 feed failures in 157 rounds.

I'm really scratching my head on this, any ideas?

I had 3 in 200 rds................no worries, keep shooting..............I attributed mine to either the Blazer ammo or weak wrist. Shot 150 rds. Fiocchi without a hitch. Ammo? Keep shooting it. I did polish my feed ramp.

The range where I shoot is really anal and wants us to use their Atlanta Arms reloads, so that may be part of it. It might be worth a trip to another range where they don't give a darn, and try some good factory ammo.

That's one thing that I NEVER do..............shoot reloads..........I won't knock anyone else who does, it's just me..........If I didn't make each round personally, I don't shoot them. I noticed that the Blazer 115gr.FMJ seemed a bit tamer than the Fiocchi 115gr. I really dislike places that force you to shoot their ammo. Have one in my area. That's why I joined a gun club. Outdoor range. Open 24/7 dawn till dusk. Policed. $75 a year. It's a 45 minute drive, but good scenery on the way. I realize that a lot of people just don't have too many choices, depending on the area, but if at all possible, gun clubs are a viable alternative. I would try the factory ammo, and grip it tight.

If I give them puppy dog eyes and sound sincere that my ammo is factory fresh (as opposed to me reloading at home and putting it in a factory box - no kidding), they might let me shoot good ammo there. As long as it's not steel cased.

How do you know I'm not? :p

It depends on who's working the counter. One guy is an old troll, so I have to play really nice with him. A second guy is a jerk, not sure how to deal with him yet. Third guy is pretty normal, I can just be straight with him and I'm confident I can get good factory ammo in.

Now, to find some good factory ammo. It can still be scarce around here.

clevage always worked in my gun shop. Just sayin. Send the wife or gal friend and show some clevage and I usually find ammo I never thought I had. I'm not easy but I can be had. Just sayin

200 rounds is minimum for break in on some Kahr guns.
My MK40 Elite loosened up some and got better after 200.
But didn't turn 100% reliable until after 400.

I never run re-loads.
But have tried Gold Dots, Rangers, HST, Remington JHPs...
Even Speer big mouth Short Barrel.
It runs like butter and eats anything.
