Based upon the questions Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Scalia asked it gives me great hope.

You never know what the Supreme Court will do. I never thought that the Supreme Court would rule that a woman's right to privacy would supersede a child's right to life. I never thought that the Supreme Court would rule that the government could force an individual to by something like healthcare insurance. The Supreme Court is only supposed to rule on the constitutionality of a law, but the Supreme Court of today seems to want to legislate from the bench.

Whatever SCOTUS decides, it is pretty much guaranteed to expand the unconstitutional powers of the Federal government.

+1000....John Roberts should be ashamed of himself and I'm positive Obamafia found a skeleton in his closet in order for him to vote that Ovomitcare was a tax and could become law....The current members of the SCOUS are the most dangerous 9 people on the face of the earth....God help us if Barry gets to appoint one before his miserable term is over....Oh yea then we got Hillary to worry about....IMHO having lifetime Justice appointments to the SCOUS is the most dangerous thing that free men face today in America....

You can't trust Chief Roberts. He folded like a cheap suit on the Obamacare ruling.

Did you mean "one more"?
Obama has already appointed two Supreme Court justices: Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan.
They replaced equally liberal justices, so the balance of the court wasn't really affected. But we're stuck with the both of them until they drop dead (sooner would be better than later). ;)

How can there be liberal ( or conservative) justices? That's the entire reason for the lifetime appointment so a justice can shed her/his political affiliations and simply do the right thing per the constitution.

That there is what you call sarcasm, isn't it? I thought you said I should give a "roll eyes" smiley when I do that. :)

I'm a very lucky man. I know when the happiest day of my life will occur. The happiest day of my life will be when Obama's skinny black socialist ass is out of the White House and back on the street.

On the street? How about in a nice room in Leavenworth?
SC Rep. Trey Gowdy rips the Obama administration a new one:

Sadly, those lifetime appointments cut both ways. It also frees the moonbat wing of the Court who think the Constitution is a "living document" that means what they say it means.

The principal behind lifetime appointments was so that the politics of the day would not intrude. Sadly that is not the case as it does intrude.

I like you and agree with you most of the time Muggsy, but there is no need for racial sentiments to make your point.
I agree with TheTman that Obama belongs in Leavenworth.

Would it be racist to say I can't wait for Harry Reid's skinny WHITE socialist ass to get kicked out of the Senate?
Obama is a 1/2 black man. How is describing a man as what he actually is a racist statement? You're being too sensitive and too PC.

I am neither sensitive nor pc, but this is supposed to be a reputable gun forum. Just pointing out the obvious.
There are those who deem such descriptions as "racist", and we all know it.
Do you want this place to be mislabeled and possibly lose advertisers, or possible members?
Nobody wants to see the end of this current administration more than I do.
And btw - the president is not black by African standards, he is "coloured" as they term it.
But I will shut up now.

You're right, Armybrat. I should have referred to his as a mixed race ass. Being that I'm trying to be the kinder gentler muggsy, I promise to be more selective in the future.
