hello all. this is my first post on what seems to be a very informative forum. i recently sold my xdm 9 for 600.00 and bought a kahr pm9093.i also bought an extra mag and pierce grip extensions.
i am very impressed i completed my 200 round break-in session with only two glitchs.
both of which i feel were my fault. instead of letting the pistol chamber the round with the slide release i did it manually and didnt pull it far enough back and so i had a jam. the second one was a failure to feed but a simple tap to the bottom of the mag.(locking it into place) solved the problem.. the size of this gun in relation to its power is very impressive. i love this little master "piece"(pun intended). i traded my xdm which was a great gun but i have a "sig sauer" p220r. 45 which is my main carry and i wanted something smaller that i could just throw into my pocket on that latenight run to the convenience store etc. the "xdm" was a lil' too big for that. the lil' "kahr" is perfect. i am very impressed, it may well become my "main carry weapon"?
i am looking to buy a "crossbreed minituck". what are you guys using?

I too love the little PM9. I ordered the minituck this last week so I don't have it yet. I do have two other crossbreed holesters already so I am sure it will be good. I also ordered a Mikes special from TT gunleather but the wait time is about 20 weeks so I needed something to use until then anyway. I have 500 rounds through mine now and have not had one failure of any kind. I have shot several types of ammo including +p hollow points. Could not be happier with my little Kahr:)

Welcome to both you fellas. Sounds like we can add two more to the growing list of PM9 enthusiast. They sure are popular around here perhaps the most popular and seem to be the gun that always goes along when others are left at home or in the glove box.
We'll be looking forward to hearing from ya, pictures of your new little joys are always nice. Ain't like you seen one you seen em all, it's more like you seen one you want to see em all.

Thanks for the welcome! I purchased the PM9 because I was looking for something lighter for the summer months to carry. I have a SA EMP which is a fantastic carry gun and shooter but tips the scale at 25 oz empty so PM9 fit the bill. I got it with night sights and also put CT laser in it.

That's a popular combination. It will serve you well, and welcome aboard.

The PM9 is very well suited to the Tucker Silent Thunder IWB holster. It is a clip on with a single belt clip (available in 3 styles), adjustable cant, leather inside and Kydex outside which preserves the finish, and it is just terrific to wear all day. I carry mine from morning to bedtime. I even have a soft shoulder holster for casual wear but prefer my ST. I don't have any affiliation with Tucker except as a very happy customer. You can see excellent pics of it in this link: http://kahrtalk.com/holsters-gear/663-got-silent-thunder-my-mk9-pic-heavy.html#post5137

yes thanks for the welcome. i have just the basic pm9 combat sights feel i got a good deal at $499.00 new.
i would like a laser but the current "ct" for trigger gaurd just doesnt do it for me. i wish that they could/would make a guide rod type laser.besides,i am confident that i can hit a mansize target @15 yds and under with factory sights. i may go with the tritium night sites. has anyone put the "hivis" sights on theirs?

No, I'm a righty! I confess to living on the lefty coast tho, maybe that's why I need to carry. The pics arn't mine, but are the best gun pics I've seen. The poster is a pro photographer and it shows.
