If you guys get Kahr to make a special run of MK45's for us and I'll sell whatever I have to from my now extremely small collection in order to pay for my copy.

I don't want a covert or chopped grip. For a .45 I want a full K9 sized grip and Otterbox grip covers. I don't need it polished either.

Heck, I'd even go for a T45 to get 7+1 capacity if that's what it takes.

Where do you get a covert? Did Kahr produce them in limited runs in the past, or are they cut down by a gunsmiths?

I believe the Covert is an older discontinued model.
You'd have to get a used one off Gunsamerica/Gunbroker...
Or get lucky and find one at your LGS.

They didn't come with that killer shine on them though.
You'd have to polish the puppy up yourself.
I think you can do that to any stainless Kahr slide.

My only Kahr is a MK40 Elite 03.

Ok, put me back on the list for this. I keep trying to find a subcompact .45 that doesn't hurt to shoot, and this would be the best bet. I'm starting to think about the new CM45, but a K45 Elite would be more pleasant to shoot.

The only thing that could make my PM45 better would be the equivalent in all metal. A K45/MK45 Elite would be the Kahr I could not say "no" to. Take my money! Please! :D
