Sad thing is it's a win for the powers that be in California. That's precisely what they want. I don't blame Ruger or S & W at all, I would have quit dealing with CA nightmares years ago.
If those two big players are quitting you can bet that the little league players won't be selling there either.
Now in addition to praying that they close the southern boarder I hope they close the California border too. (So they can't get out, ok to let fools in).
Old Lincoln, grab the missus and get out while you still can. We'll leave the light on for ya.

GOOD!!!....I only wish the companies that supply food, water and fuel would stop selling stuff too so that all the illegal aliens living there both from south of the border and from outer space would go back home....Hopefully "The Big One" will hit soon and the whole damn place will break off and sink.....

I don't think many would miss that liberal **** hole if that did happen.

Bawanna, it is actually probably a business opportunity for a smaller player. If somebody with smaller production lines wants to put the technology in their guns, they could have the CA market. Unfortunately, I expect someone will step up for that.

Well I keep hoping the Peoples Republic of Cuntifornicate will drop into the ocean and drown every person who happens to be there.

Heck of a lot of good military folks that are stationed in that God forsaken state. Not everyone there wants to be there.
And I'm pretty sure the majority of the folks living in the northern part of the state up in the mountains are sick to their stomachs.

x2....it's not all SF and/or LA...not at all. My first time in CA was a military assignment in '63. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. By the end of the last time I lived there though, two days after Christmas '89, it was....gone
RIP paradise lost.

Bad for Everyone, including CA, S&W and Ruger. This was something that NY was pushing for a while back, but it seems to have gone away.....for now. If the anti gun states see this works in CA, we may have more of them driving out gun companies in other States. It is a stupid law and I agree with the gun manufacturer's positions on it. It is consistent with NY's old law that they had a file of 2 spent brass from each handgun sold in NY. Not one (1) single crime was solved by nor used the spent brass system. It was simply an obstacle created for gun distributers to have each gun fired by the State Sheriff or State Police (not sure which one) so they could keep the brass in a useless data base. Micro Stamping will prove to be useless too. But this does become a victory for the anti gun States to drive out gun manufacturer sales in their State. Bad movement against our 2A.
