A fella whose user name I don't know emailed and asked me to post some pictures for him. A very nice group. A PM9, CW9 and a CW45. Wasn't sure where to post them so I put them under general discussion. I'll post for your viewing pleasure, I know you all love gun porn. Hopefully he will jump in and tell us the whole story.

Nice pics. These would convince me to go with the CW45 hands down if I had not already done so. There is so little difference between the CW9 and the CW45 that going with a caliber that makes a bigger hole is so easy to defend.

Regardless of whether the bullet expands or not the 45ACP makes a bigger hole than the 9mm.

Makes perfect sense to me but then some people claim I'm biased and drank too much of Col Jeff Coopers kool aid. Might be so. Wider is better.

Hey B-Wanna, thx for posting up my pics. I'm slightly computer illiturat...elityurat......uh, stupid. Yeah, that's the word.

My journey to my second .45.....
The CW45 was purchased this past Wed after I sold my XD9sc. For about 9-10 months the XD9sc was my primary carry weapon. At the same time I also had a Sig P238 until one day when I spied a PM9 for sale somewhere. I traded the P238 straight up for the PM9. Folks, I must ask this question....Why would you carry a .380 when you can EASILY front pocket carry the PM9 in jeans? It's practically the same size, maybe a hair thicker, but a larger caliber and cheaper and more readily available ammo. It impressed me the first time I shot it. The recoil seemed to be LESS than the P238.

A few weeks later I was at the range shooting my Taurus Ultra Lite .38 and after remembering why I rarely shot it (NASTY little booger!) I decided it had to go. On the way out I saw a used CW9 for sale and immediately offered the .38 and some $ for the CW9. They bit and I bit and skipped out the door one happy puppy. Talk about a SWEET shooter....man, that CW9 is it.

Well, after getting that PM9 and CW9 the XD9sc began a lonely existence on the top of the dresser next to the bed. I decided it needed to go and make someone else happy. It was doing me no good there. So, I put it up for sale and within a few days it sold. I knew there was a CW45 at my local gun store so I ran up there and brought home the .45. It's had 150 rds thru it so far with ZERO issues. The recoil seems a little more than the XD9sc, but less than the XD45c that I had last year. Go figure that one out. Smaller, thinner and lighter than the XD45c, yet with LESS recoil.
Kahr CW45....Same size as the XD9sc, but thinner and only 20oz., making it about 6-7 oz lighter.
Guys, IMO, the Kahrs can't be beat for CC.
