A new pure copper bullet that splinters on impact.
As of now, the company is only releasing specifications for their 9mm round and they go a lil’ something like this:

* 16″ Penetration
* Up to 6″ diameter spread
* 96 gr projectile
* 2″ grouping at 25 yrds
* 1265 FPS / 490 Muzzle Energy
* 9 Separate Wound Channels
* Precision Machined
* Solid Copper / Lead Free
* Defeats all known barriers such as sheet metal, sheet rock, windshields, plywood, heavy winter clothing

CA will declare this a flechette bullet which is already outlawed.

I'll stick to my lead semi-wad cutters ;)

There isn't anything wrong with lead projectiles. They've been in use for over 500 years.

Scary looking! Calling them R.I.P. is, in my opinion, a dumb idea.

I'd like to see some independent testing and reviews.

Well, gotta come up with something appealing to the nut cases in order to market an apparently/from the looks of it/reading the claims pos product like this.

I contacted these people: This is available through http://g2rip.com/ and the 9mm cost $44.00/box of 20.

I plan on buying a box of 9mm next payday and a box of 380auto when available.

Isn't this the same as DRT ammo? I bought a box of 20 for about $20. It fed and fired fine, and made holes in paper. No idea if it met all the multi-wound channel claims, but it did on YouTube.

I think they should let the copper tarnish to green, package it with a 6 pack of MREs and a 40oz PBR and call it zombie apocalypse prepper ammo. Then it'll sell I'm sure.

And there we have it. Good find! Hope that clears it up for everyone. Someday, someone will develop something better and the tests will prove it out. But until then, question and then verify before you spend your hard earned dollar. The purpose here is to stop a threat. And the method to do that is have a gun you are comfortable with and trust, ammo that has been verified by as many test as possible to penetrate and expand in as many materials as possible, and finally practice practice practice...and then practice more.

Head over to TTAG, or www.shootingthebull410.com for just that. Their review complete with gel and barriers is this is garbage ammo. The petals after separation would leave some one with a painful but likely survivable wound.

I'll stick with my proven and bonded Gold Dots, short-barrel by Speer or the Underwood versions... much cheaper and I know that they'll do the job. I don't need to have the latest "greatest" designer ammo. :rolleyes:

For me it is either Federal HST or Hornady Critical Defense/Duty

Dang! With a Dremel tool and cutter wheel you can take a 147-gr HP and make all of the cuts you want... market your own version for $3 each... maybe paint faces or sharks' teeth on the bullet as well... BOUTIQUE AMMO.
