RIA to the rescue ! They sent me another frame. On this one I decided to go with 30 lpi on the front strap and the trigger guard. I also checkered the grip screws. And under cut the trigger guard / frame area

So the hole in the first one was a mfg defect?

And you did all that front strap, grip screw and trigger guard checkering this quickly.

Always wished I could checker metal, never could figure it out.

I did all the other work first. Then while checkering the trigger guard I cut through th thin skin that covered a porosity in the casting. It was the last thing to do !
