I am planning on putting xs big dots on my pm9. They appear to be quite a bit taller than the stock sights. So, do I now have to buy all new holsters! My Talon is going to be too tight, and the others appear to be the same. Any comments from folks who have big dots an what holsters they use, and how they dealt with this appreciated.

Hi again! I have the Mitch rosen holster that Kahr sells for my K40. I also have XS big dots. My setup works fine.

I have several XS setups and haven't had any holster issues.

If you purchase a holster for a given handgun, it should work fine with the XS Big Dot Sights. XS makes their Sights handgun (or family) specific. You will be fine.
You will also like your XS Big Dot Sights. I have them on each of my carry Glocks.

Most of my guns have Big Dots.
Although only Kahr, a MK40 Elite, still sports it's factory NS.
Still, I've never heard, or read, of anyone having holster issues with Big Dots.
I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks everyone for replying. Wow, that was great. I do notice ther is a problem with my Talon iwb and the bif dots. Haven't installed them, but comparing height and looking at the holster there is an issue. Great reason to get another holster to add to my "collection"
I probably will try to put them on this weekend and see how it goes. hope they will make it with the talon a little while, the other Kahr (CM9) has a CT laser on it, and it surely doesn't fit any of my holsters. holster shopping I go...
Again great group, thanks

Yes, I was going to ask the same question but searched the site before doing so - thanks for the info.

Most holster makers make sight channel taller than needed. If you do run into problem, I have used hot water and hair dryer to stretch holster some.
