Got a new PM9. Got questions (with pics

Been a while since I've been here. I sold my PM9 a long time ago and regretted it ever since. Sooo.

I picked up my new one today at the LGS and brought it home and noticed something on the frame by the trigger. There is a small hole right next to the trigger with metal recessed inside of it and want to know what gives with this. Is it normal?

Secondly, I have had a CM40 as well but got rid of it due to staying with 9mm only. I bought many mags when I had my CM40 and PM9 and found a flush fitting mag in the parts bin and am not sure if it is for 9 or 40. It's an old one. The follower is not marked underneath it but it goes in smooth and drops free in the PM9. Is it for my 9 or is it for .40.

the hole is normal it is where trigger pin retainer goes in. i just tried 40 and 9 mags in my pm9 the 9s go in easily with some slop the 40s are snug

Thanks for your reply. I didn't remember if my last Kahr's had that hole by the trigger or not.

Some are more noticeable than others but kahrnut nailed it. It is in fact a retainer pin for the trigger pin.
