Update on my CM9 that I sent back to Kahr for breaking magazine followers. FedEx delivered it to my house this afternoon. It was gone for a total of 8 days. This included the weekend and shipping both ways, which was paid for by Kahr. The factory certainly removed some material from the feed ramp, test fired it and replaced the magazine.

Got to give them two thumbs up for the super quick turn around time! I just hope what they did will do the trick. Temperatures are supposed to be in the low 60's Saturday and Sunday so I hope to get a few rounds through it and see what happens.

Good deal.
Could you take a close up of the bottom of the feed ramp so we can get an idea how much material was removed?
Thanks

Impressive response time. More evidence that Kahr has stepped things up a bit.

That's exactly how long it took when I had the broken mag problem. Their service is tops!

I will try to do that when I take it apart for cleaning in the next couple days.

Took the CM9 out this afternoon and shot 50 flawless rounds of 124 grain Blazer Brass. It appears Kahr has solved the problem! I had forgotten how much fun the little Kahr is to shoot and how accurate it is.

It was a fun day of shooting as my friend and I shot a variety of different pistols. I brought along my new Glock 30S with Glock night sights and my friend brought his LC9, M&P 40c, Taurus Millenium PT111, and a M&P 22. All the pistols functioned perfectly except for the Taurus as it had a light primer strike.

It was also interesting shooting the LC9 and the CM9 back to back. The LC9 is a very accurate little pistol in its own right. We both felt the LC9 was just a little less snappy than the CM9 but we both were more accurate with the Kahr.

Hopefully Kahr has taken care of this issue and I can put it behind me.

Only eight days! Congrats!!!

The cynical side of me says that I can imagine one dedicated rework guy at Kahr, the broken follower guy, sitting there tearing down pistols, whacking the ramp noses, cleaning everything, firing a mag of ammo though it, and calling it done. If I was doing that, I'd have work on one side of the firing position, a little benchtop right at the firing position, and work completed on the other side. That way I wouldn't even have to walk to the range to test fire the pistols. I could grind away happily with my earmuffs and plugs in, and be very content fixing barrel ramp nose issues all day long, six days a week....and seemingly, never see the end of my employment either!
