Hi Everyone, new owner of a CW9. I got it home and as I was cleaning it up I noticed the left side of the ramp seems to not be as smooth as I would expect, a flaw perhaps? Should I be concerned? it's like a very small nick is in the middle of the left side of the ramp... so I just don't know if I should try to polish it or send it back... or just start shooting and see what happens. (safely at the range of course)

Thanks, I will try to post a pic

Post a pic of it. There is a very small line on the left that is a position guide for assembly/disassembly.

Hope that worked... it doesn't look like it is intentional. Left side of the feed ramp half way up.

Nothing really happens in that area. I'd get to shooting myself. If it's rough, smooth it off a bit with some fine sand paper. The ramp itself looks fine.

Yeah I don't think I'd worry about that at all

Depends on your tolerance for imperfection. I wouldn't worry about it and I'm self described anal. Go shooting! (But not in the house).

Thank guys! I feel better now.... Time to borrow the wife's nail file for some polishing. (Kidding)

Grab her toothbrush with the nail file, it's handy too, just don't get caught.

You got to love it ... a newbie2kahrs comes in with a question ... various & sundry major & minor Kahr prophets prophesy ... and the newbie goes away believing all is right with the world. It's why I sleep so soundly at night ... that and God.

If you leave the Federal Guvmint out of the picture everything is right with the world rev. It's God's plan man. You should know that.

Made me smile there Colonel. Thanks. Even though life could be better, it's still good. Make the best of it. And bury a couple guns in the back yard just in case ;)
