Was able to make a nice trade for a new K40. Realized my beloved Glock 27 was just a tad too bulky to carry on my skinny belt, and was lucky enough the shop offered me a nice trade on it towards the Kahr.

I'm no expert on Kahr pistols, but the trigger this K40 has is sweet (by that I mean smooth) trigger..

I'm a big fan of the old bar and dot sight picture so we should get along well..lol

So, here's to my new K40 being as reliable/trouble free as my CW9 was and my CW380 is.

Will add a pic of the blossoming Kahr family of mine when I can pick it up.(have to wait 48 hrs here in WI on handgun transfers) so I'll make sure it happened then.

I think you made a wise decision, and got a nice firearm in the process. I don't know what's going on up here in the frozen tundra state, but I sure am seeing a lot of Glock's and XD's for sale. Even saw a brand new PM9 for $595...................Keep us posted on how it goes.......................

Where was the PM9 at? Might just trade something towards it.

I live in Green Bay, or basically 10 min from Lambeau and Cabela's..lol

I just got the darn K40 in my hand, loved the rubber grip and overall feel of the gun.. Looks cool too, and three mags in a nice hard case seemed like a good deal. Think this gun has been in inventory for a while as they were eager to make a deal on it. Who knows, thinking maybe Saturday night I'll take it and my CW380 which needs another flawless box of ammo through it to be considered broken in, although through 151 rounds, it's only malfunctioned once.
