Now that they are their own company, I bought another P99 AS. What a sweet gun. I did not like the S&W version, but now that they are back, I'm in. One of the best SA/DA triggers I've felt in a long time.
Perfect function and much cheaper than the say an H&K.

I had an early P99c QA. It was indeed a nice pistol. The QA, (quick action), lived up to it's name. Very short reset. I could shoot it quicker than any small carry size gun I've owned. I think I'd prefer the AS trigger as it allows for that uncocked stroke that I want on a carry gun. A well made and designed pistol. Hope you have many good years with it. Enjoy.

I like the way the Walther's shoot.
I've shot my husband has a P99c which is nice but I don't like the mag release on the trigger guard. All my hand guns have conventionally located mag release buttons.
I prefer consistency in my carry guns so his P99c is not for me.
Recently my husband bought a Walther PPQ with a conventional mag release and I love it.
I'm lucky, He'll share! I can take it to the range as long as I clean it…….works for me!

I had an early P99..............nice trigger, but didn't like mag release, and it was plastic. So, down the road....................made a nice trade though...........

I love mine and I actually prefer the mag release location. It is easier to use then some of my 1911's. This gun not only has a FANTASTIC trigger, the grip is second to none. To each his (or her) own.
