I saw on last nights news that Ruger has a special edition LCP. In honor of Gubner Perry shooting a coyote, Ruger has thought it would be a good idea to come out with a special LCP. I almost thought about getting one, then I remembered that I have no use for a .380. Any one else find this funny?

I don't know about funny, but I checked with a local dealer today and he told me the run of 1000 guns was sold out completely. They are hoping for a second run of at least that much. When it came out in the paper, the last 150 sold in about 30 minutes, from what he told me. These could possibly be collector items in the future. We'll have to wait and see.

Well jlott, time will tell about these little Coyote Specials but my early Fathers Day present showed up this afternoon and it looks pretty good. I don't know whose idea it was but Rick Perry sure is getting a lot of good marketing out of it. Best way I can think of to get re-elected governor in this state.

You saying you got one of these? That's the way I read it........Are these things numbered and such or just limited to the 1000 and I don't live in Texas so I'm a loser. Actually I am and I've gotten so used to it that it feels completely normal to me. Not always I guess, Tiny was a winner right out of the box.

Actually, my wife found what was probably the last 2 on the market. She got me one and her dad one. If I can get my computer nerd son to come to the house tonight, I'll get him to get some pictures up by tomorrow. They actually stamped in big red letters right on the box "For sale to Texans only". My wife told me last night they were even howling on the Huffington Post about it. The liberals in Austin were all upset. One even claimed that they were really intended to shoot the "coyotes" from Mexico. How stupid? They just can't accept a successful Republican.

I don't really like Rick Perry, as his mouth generally precedes him by a good distance, but he is better than the other guy. As for the .380... I decided not so long ago that I was done with the 380, and the only interest I would have in it would be to show the younger generations about the silliness we have. As for the Mexi Coyotes, if they leave me alone, I'll leave them alone, otherwise I have something much better. Wish my wife would give a new toy for fathers day, or any day for that matter.
