Is there a replacement base plate for the 6 round mags that will not pinch the pinky? Ideally a black composite material that will not lengthen the mag much. I do not want a 7 rd mag with the extension.

Some have tamed the mag pinch by sliding an O-ring on the mag to fill the void.

That works using the metal baseplates, but you would have to sand down the upper part of the polymer base to make an O-ring fit. i used a neoprene 3/32" diameter, 3/4" inner diameter O-ring on my P9 and P40. The P40 really pinched when I swapped to the metal baseplates.

They sell them together for a little less $ but I can never find them on the lame site.

I've tried to find the "kits" several time and the search function at kahr.com just does not work. I get an error message for ANY size search. I've emailed Kahr service and sales... the only contacts... several times and weeks ago... to no avail.

The combo kits were $15 for the base and lock plate vs. $8.80 for each part. The METAL black base plate kits are only $12.99 now:

And the plastic ones can't be found without the actual link, since searches don't work.

The plastic base that you are looking to modify uses the same locking plate that the standard flat base uses. Even the metal lock plates will work, they just don't look right.

Hope ya get what you need!

These are the ones I ordered, you just have to take the baseplate to a piece of sandpaper for a minute and they work perfectly.

Nope, longer, and will have a gap.
How do I know...

I have one on my CM9 magazine, and I love it. Didn't have to modify it in any way. Mag inserts without having to apply any extra force (IE: slapping floorplate). I can live with the very minor gap between mag and frame. Have (2) more ordered for my other mags.

I ordered the poly plate and base support for the K9 seven rounders... a little time with my wife's emory board and voila.

I got rubber O ring washers from Lowes and put one on each base plate. Problem fixed!
