I am looking for info on fit and function for extended mags in the CM9 and PM45. Which mags will provide 1+ round and still have a flush fit between the mag extension and the grip? Are there problems with any of these mags? Of course, I would run rounds through any mags, but wondering if any are habitual offenders. Just so I am perfectly clear, Kahr part numbers would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Here is the Kahr magazine guide:

Any Kahr 9mm mags will fit the CM9/PM9. I have the latter and will post pix. Any Kahr .45 mags will fit int the CM/PM45. Again, I have the latter.

I carry concealed with the flushest -- no pinkie grip -- magazine for concealment, but carry the largest extended grip spare in a holder on my GUNBELT on the opposite side.

I carry the 8-round extended mag for a spare when carrying the PM9 or P9, and the appropriate 7-round extended mag when carrying the P40 or PM45. That's two extra rounds for the PM9 and PM45, and one extra each for the P9.

I practice with the extended mags at the range, too.

You'll have to decide what you like best, especially with "snug fit" between the base of the grip and baseplate.

Thank you, Wyn! Have you heard of or had any of these cause issues at any higher rate than a regular mag?

I've had issues with all of the .45 mags splitting splitting at both upper rears and the first time Kahr had to replace my frame before the splitting would stop. Then later I had another episode with the same, but after inspecting my pistol again, they said it was okay and replaced all of my mags. A third time I declined to send the pistol back at their expense, but did get all new mags. I think that they had some problems with some of the mags in production. I hope that I don't have any more problems with .45 mags. I worry that that will crop up again, though.
