These are all once fired 9mm brass.
All of which were soaked over night in my own "gadget" (I'll explain what it is if you'd guys like) and then tumbled for 2 hours. The results speak for them selves. NO MORE WINCHESTER WB FOR ME LOLhttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/21/aza2yped.jpg

I love a mystery. Don't say another word. Keep me guessing. On second thought, tell us all. You know that you can't keep a secret. :)

You his familiar with fishing? Live bait. Bucket with an aerator to keep minoes alive?? Well take the minoes out and add brass and a few squirts of Johnson's baby shampoo! Why baby shampoo? It doesn't have any acids that can tarnish your brass! The aerator will agitate the water keeping everything moving. Making cleaner brass! Then you tumble it for an hour and you get the finished product as seen in the pic! It comes cleaner than tumbling over night :)

Can't you just put the minnows in the tumbler, while you're using the bait bucket?

Hell the minnows might come out much shinier and make better bait. Probably a little dizzy and whooozy from all that twirling around though.
Maybe a vibrator type tumbler would be better for em.

Might be tastier, too!

dang.... I've ruined all my brass.... I've been dumping it in an ultrasonic cleaner with either acetic acid, phosphoric acid or citric acid for the last three years.
Well, at least I don't have to worry about minnows around here ... they all paused about 15 years ago

I bought a vibrator once, but I won't go into the details of that purchase as this is a family friendly site. :) Thanks for the tip on the baby shampoo. I've been stealing my wife's dish washing liquid. I love the lemon scent.

Mross1990, I like your idea!
At what point do you punch the primers?

get a universal depriming die and deprime everything before the "liquid bath". You get better flow through with the liquid, the primer pocket and flash hole get clean, and the flow through helps clean the inside of case faster.
A half teaspoon or so of Lemi-Shine and a drop of dishwashing liquid in a pint of water .... in a plastic coffee can .... 50-60 pieces of pistol brass (deprimed) .... swirl around a bit every 5 minutes. In 15-20 minutes you will have amazing results. The same mix in an ultrasonic cleaner will produce spotless brass in about 10 minutes

I agree, I was just wondering what 1990 is doing and why.

I throw all of my brass into a lingerie bag and toss it in the washing machine with the wife's unmentionables. They come out clean with no skid marks. (The unmentionable that is.) The brass doesn't fare as well, but it's clean enough for reloading. I tumble them dry on permanent press cycle. :)
