Scared kid. College lockdown.

My 19 year old daughter was at the local community college today between classes when a lockdown involving a 'gunman' occurred. She spent a tense hour in a classroom with 2 professors and another student. Police apparently found the suspect but not a weapon. My daughter, who can shoot a gnat off a fly's butt, told me that she sure wished she had 'Uncle Sig' with her in that classroom. Of course that's not allowed and she's 2 years away from being old enough for a CC permit. Very relieved that this wasn't a more serious incident. Here is her favorite Uncle Sig.

Honestly, that's what I fear most: finding myself in a situation where I should/could have been carrying but I wasn't...for some reason or another...my job won't allow...it's a gun free zone...etc.

So glad she is safe.
