Just wanted to post up some pictures of my latest knife purchase. They are both made by Cody at Adventure Sworn Knives. He is really an artist. His attention detail is evident in the pictures below. The handles are very ergonomic and the blades are scary sharp. I love them, but they are hard to come by. Both of these are second hand purchases. What do you think?

Very nice, I'm thinking that certainly isn't his first attempt at knife making. Very well done.

I agree. I think he has been in business since around 2010. His wife makes the sheaths which are also pretty darn nice. :)

Very nice! I love custom knives and have a few made by a friend I elk hunt with. I think custom knives are a lot more meaningful than just something mass produced you can buy in a store, especially if you know the person who makes them.

I think about him and the good times we have had every time I strap one on.

Nicely done. I prefer the one with the darker handle. Rose wood?

Desert Ironwood. Very hard stuff finishes nicely. :D

Absolutely beautiful. I would sit in the lounge chair and just play with those things all night. Band-aids nearby of course.

I did that just yesterday. Watching the ball game and stropping the desert Ironwood blade. Hair popping sharp! Band-aids nearby! :D

those knives are a great buy for the $ IMHO. Yep they are not cheap but they are works of art. What steel is used?

Both knives are beautiful works of art. Is the first one Bird-Eye Maple and the second one Rosewood? The blades are gorgeous. Congratulations.

I believe the blades are 01 tool steel. Expensive yes but worth it. I think so.

Stabilized black ash on the first and Desert Ironwood on the second one.:)

I love knives; and your new ones are really cool, got2hav1. I especially like the first one. Knives and guns go together--at least in my mind!

what is the purpose of these knives? Don't get me wrong. If they are just eye candy, that is fine too. I am wondering if you plan to carry or use them and at what capacity

I am thinking these will be just to look at and maybe some very light use. I have some less expensive ones to use. Survive GSO 4-1 in particular. I may have one of those up for sale as well as some Marble stack leather knives. These are the original Marbles pre war blades made in Gladstone MI. Thinning the herd , so if anyone might be interested let me know. :amflag:

Beautiful knives for sure! I'm afraid they'd be "safe queens" if I had them, way to purty to actually use. Fantastic craftsmanship no doubt.

Ajbert, I think I am leaning that way. I just rec'd the first one ( black ash handle) today. It is just as awesome in person. It is also a beefy knive the full tang is 1/4" thick.Blade is 4-5/8" long and overall length 9-1/2" long. Workmanship is outstanding!
