Hey everybody........newbie here.................been lurking around the forum, and bought myself a CM9............wow, what a pos..........lousy sights, lousy trigger, jammomatic, neither mag stays in, I can't hit $$it with a bag of rice. Been using that Tula ammo. The plastic is shredding on the inside. I can't get a good grouping at 50 yds. I know I'm not limp wristing, because I've been shooting firearms since I was 10, now I'm 15. I know I wasn't hitting the mag release, because, I just wouldn't do that. Got 7 holsters and don't like any of them. Should I polish the ramp? I've tried emailing Kahr, and told them that their firearms are crap. They never return my emails. Do you think they're busy? I think I'll stick to my Glock. I never have ANY trouble with it, but it sucks to carry. If I would have known about all these problems, I never would have bought it. Breakin? Who has ever heard of that? You mean, I actually have to buy ammo, and practice with it? I don't do that with any of my other guns. What should I do? This was such an expensive gun, I can't believe I am having all of these problems.;)

Just shoot the fokker like you stole it. Maybe give some firearm safety instruction to your girlfriend. You'll be ok.

When in the gun busness years back I sold many many Bauer 25, the copy of the Browing 25 only all stainless. They were nice guns, but I would aqlmost bet that75% never fired the guns ever and those that did probalbyever put 50 rounds through the guns either.

Hang in there newbie. Once you get past the 20,000 round break-in period all of these problems will magically disappear. You'll even get a call from Justin Moon on your birthday asking you how you like your new gun and the people in customer service will present you with a perseverance award. I got mine yesterday. :)

QUOTE=Rat;290627]I recently purchased a new cw380. After purchasing it, I cleaned it and took it to the range..... I fired 100 rounds and I immediately started having problems with it. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems?
The gun is locking open after shots fired and failing to open on last round. I shot 100 rounds and it locked open approximately the first shot from every clip. Once or twice it failed to open after the last round fired. The ammo used was Winchester FMJ. I'd like to try some different ammo and maybe watch my grip a little better on where my thump rests before getting too upset. However, I have a g23 that has "never once failed" no matter what type of ammo was used in it. Just saying that because I feel if something is sold, it shouldn't leave the factory unless it is working properly. I'm saying that because I don't feel that its up to me to have to spend another $100 or so in ammo to make sure it is (kahrs words..."broken in") working properly. I will say that I truly like the way the cw380 feels...it's very accurate and I want it to be a keeper. I hope to get this fixed as I really like everything else about this gun. Anyway, any advice or input is surely appreciated.[/QUOTE]

When your cable goes out you get bored, when you get bored you want to buy something so you go in the first store you see which turns out to sell guns, you are bored and in a strange store that sells guns with money in your pocket so you buy a gun you know nothing about and can't figure out how to make it work so you write into a forum and b!tch about how dumb you are, you're that guy....Don't be that guy!!!!!!....Switch to Direct TV and watch other people shoot guns in the movies, safer that way!!!

My Bauer is one of the very, very few guns I've regretted selling. I carried it routinely back in the '70s when carrying concealed .25s was common practice. Slicked up a bit with internal polishing, especially the feed ramp, and with a few hundred rounds through it was completely reliable and pretty accurate for its kind.

Really wish I had it back....for my nostalgia shelf, and occasional firing maybe. I'd put it next to my Post Versalog slide rule.

Newbie here. Never fired a gun before until recently but I watch lots of movies and slept in the dumpster behind a Holiday Inn last night. Found a Kahr CW45 in a storm drain while looking for loose change and have been practicing with ammo I pilfered from a friends house. I really don't like this gun. Here's why:

After firing the last shot that slide thingy stays open.
The bullets that say '9 mm' don't work at all in it.
When I hit the safety button on the side the thing that holds the bullets falls out of the handle.
I can't hit anything from a moving car, even when using my LLCool J patented grip.

Hope you guys can help. Great site but I don't think that 'Jacko' guy knows as much as I do about guns. I wonder if he wears that single white glove still?

Hey everyone..................well, I went out to the range again.............had three different types of ammo........Tula 115 gr., Yamahatchi 115gr, and Wally's 115gr. I wanted to see if maybe the ammo I was using was crap. Before I went to the range, I put this wire brush attachment on my drill, and polished all of the main parts.........the ramp, the slide, the top of the frame, and the tops of the clips. Well, still a pos. I can't believe it. I couldn't even get the first round to feed out of either one of my clips. The bullets kept going straight down, under the ramp, and it's really hard to rack now. I also sanded my guide rod, and polished it with the drill, hoping it would smooth things out. I am going to call Kahr immediately, and tell them to pick up their gun. If I can't get at least one or two shots off with this, it's not reliable. I am also going to start reloading my own bullets, so I know what I have. Does anyone have any suggestions, as to how many ounces of powder I put in each bullet? I did drop it getting out of the car, but it fell on the front sight, so I don't think I hurt anything. I think that I am going to start looking for a Glock 20. I need something that I can handle, and will go bang every time.

Funny thing happened to me on the way to buy ammo. I was in a hurry to get that 24 hour Walmart, before they close, when I came up on a guy going real slow. I couldn't get around him so I stuck my pistol out the window to show him I was in a hurry to get to the store to buy ammo, and low and behold he moves over to let me pass. About 3 miles down the road I noticed 2 cop cars behind me. One pulls up beside me and starts talking to me. Now he should know I can't read lips, so I show him my pistol and mouthed the word AMMO, AMMO. I think he understood and backed off. It must of worked because both cars left, but then I noticed a helicopter overhead, following me. Then I noticed a SWAT vehicle in front of me. Now he was going really slow, in fact if I didn't know better, I'd say he was trying to get me to stop. At one point I zipped around him and showed him my pistol as I went around him. Next thing I know I see this miniature airplane coming right at me and it almost hit me. I'm really pissed so I shook my gun at it. It made another pass, so fearing my life was in danger, I started firing at it.....

So, I wake up in a hospital room, handcuffed to the bed, waiting to hear what's going to happen. No one told me it's illegal to buy ammo at Walmart. Damned commies.

I dont need anybody on this forum telling me what to do to fix my gun or improve my accuracy. I know everything. I'm an expert on all guns and military tactics and have won many battles. I got all my experience after buying the hacks for Call of Duty off the internet so if anyone has any questions they can ask me and I'll tell them how it works. Other people on this forum don't know nothing especially that jocko guy. He don't even know how to use backspace and correct his spelling. And I've shot more than 32,000 rounds on video so there. And Joe Biden comes to me for advice so there.

Oh, and no body except me needs anything other than a double barrel shotgun for self defense. AR-15's are too complicated to operate. Just go outside and fire your 2 double barrel rounds to scare off the bad guy.
