I posted this over in General Discussion...but wanted everyone to know how happy I am with my new CM9. Great great pistol. I couldn't be more excited I made this purchase.

I am new to Kahr and wanted to report on my first range trip with the awesome little CM9 ->>>

Put 225 rounds thru my week old CM9 last night and I must say I am very very happy. I am a long time Glock shooter, but wanted to try a Kahr owing to its size and potential comfort of carry, so I purchased the CM9. After reading many reviews before I purchased, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am pleased to report, with only a quick cleaning and a few drops of oil, my new CM9 was flawless - No failures to feed or eject. Not a single issue. Magazines worked wonderfully (I only used 6 rounders as this will be what I will carry).

150 rounds Winchester 115g FMJ
50 rounds Federal 115g FMJ
25 rounds Speer Gold Dot 124g JHP +p

Accuracy was nearly on par with my beloved Glock 26. I shot at 7, 10, and 15 yards. I suspect this will improve as I work with and shoot the CM9. Recoil didn't seem really significant to me (not much more than the G26...just a little snappier) and I could have shot many more rounds...and would have, but my range time was up for the evening. All in all, I am pleased with the quality, shootability, size, and reliability of the CM9. I nearly purchased the PM9, but am happy with my selection. While the CM9 won't replace my Glocks, this Kahr will soon become my primary pocket carry pistol. Really Nice Pistol. Nice!

That's great!

My PM9 replaced my G26. Figured if I'm going to belt carry (PM9 is generally pocket carried, G26 was AIWB) it may as well be a .45 (XDM compact).

Nice range report, and some good shooting.

I'd say it's broken in now .. after 225 rds.

Always a plus when your CM9 runs so smooth ... :w00t:

Nice report! I've had mine for over a week now and have not had a chance to get to the range yet. Hopefully I'll be as happy as you are with yours!

Glad to see your report. I've felt kind of left out on this forum. Nothing to gripe or moan about. My CM9 is 14 months old and after a little over 2000 rounds all it has done is go boom and eject the casing every time. No modifications of any kind. Just keep it clean and shoot it. Congrats and enjoy it.

Awesome. My PM9 is flawless thru about 500 rounds. Enjoy your CM9, it's a fantastic little gun.

Glad to see another happy CM9 owner. Take care of it and it will take care of you. Mine is 14 months old with over 2000 rounds through it and not one glitch. No modifications, changes or repairs of any kind. Welcome.

It's good to read posts (like this) about good experiences especially when the Kahr is brand new.

I got my new PM 9 black diamond w/night sights Sunday afternoon from my neighborhood (literally) FFL. I had go out of town for a couple days and I not only hope but expect to enjoy the same positive experience you've had (and be able to post a similar story).

Thanks for posting.

Great to hear! I finally pulled the trigger (excuse the pun) on a CM9 today. I usually carry a G26 or G19, so looking forward to something smaller and lighter. Optimistic my breaking will go as well.
