Well, I followed all the great advice here.Thanks. Prepped it, buffed it, lubed it and even put my inner tube on it, lol. Great idea, by the way and does not look half bad. I even had the panic attack about the notch,:D.
I put 200 error free rounds through it today. No problems at all. It did not kick as much as I thought it would. Definitely not as much as my snub 642.
I was worried about the sights...not used to that style, but really had no issues. And I was pleasantly surprised with how accurate it was.

All and all, it was great day.

Glad to hear the break-in was trouble free. Looks like you're ready for the summer heat.

Good stuff. Now yo have a faithful friend, and need to shoot it, shoot it some more rinse and repeat.

Mika...I love it. I have carried a S&W in it for a couple years and I will now carry my PM9 in it.

Mika's holsters sure aren't the priettiest, but they are probably the most functional of all pocket holsters. He was or still is a cop, so he designs and makes um all also. I would highly recommend his pocket rigs..
