This is one author's speculation about how the CT gun ban will turn out if they begin to confiscate weapons. It's not a pleasant read, but seems possible if CT decides to take the heavy handed approach.

I pray daily for a peaceful solution to this fiasco, and I'm asking and have asked others that believe in God to join me. Perhaps the power of prayer if enough people pray, can change lawmakers minds, and save us from the events portrayed in the article. It certainly can't hurt anything.

I don't think that prayer will change the minds of a godless liberals. They've already sold their souls to the devil. I'm praying that God delivers us from evil.

Unfortunately, this could very well be exactly how it plays out ... and that's why it is so scary ... because it doesn't even sound ridiculous ... it sounds pretty routine.

The federal JBT's would never even dream of taking us all on at once. They will deal with us one by one with an extremely heavy hand, being sure the rest of us will not act, and are just glad it was "someone else and not us" until the majority gets too scared to not comply after they've seen live televised (by all of the liberal networks) raids on non compliers. The rest of us that are left will have to risk dying trying to do the right thing.
At least I have no kids that depend on me, and I'm not exactly young...or old, sort of in between. I'd never be able to live with myself if I complied...and while I have none, and am often glad I don't, other peoples kids, grand kids, etc, need some of us to stand up for any hope for their own future of freedom.
The free states such as mine should at least be the last targeted.

Connecticut is a test!!!
What happens there may well forecast what the rest of us are in for!
Too bad all CT gun owners can't move to gun friendly States, that would be a dramatic
demonstration sure to get attention. But that's unrealistic!
And if we aren't careful there will be fewer and fewer Real American States left.

That is a scary scenario and not far off the mark if confiscation all comes down...Todays military styled SWAT Teams sometimes seem to forget they are there to make an arrest rather to take out an enemy combatant and depending on their training and level of restraint during the heat of an entry it could very well be the difference between life and death if you hapen to be the one in their gun sights....
I watched a very interesting program last night on the Military History Channel about private security contractors like Black Water and how they have been used in the past....I didn't know how heavy the military used them in Iraq and if they needed a certain civilian taken out then the job went to Black Water crews to erase them....They were known as the Asprin Crew because they got rid of civilian headaches the military couldn't touch due to Rules of Engagement....
Now I have no problem with independent contractors used against our enemy but did you know that Black Water contractors were used in New Orleans in 2005 after Katrina...They were armed to the teeth and looked just like police except they didnt have a badge and didn't have any rules of engagement....They were basically well paid heavily armed mall cops with no jurisdiction and who didn't answer to anyone but their Black Water handlers and I do have a problem with this kind of thing......
I feel if gun confiscation ever does come about it won't be the Military, Police, Sheriff or any other certified Law Enforcement agency involved in it but Hit Squad Contractor Goons who don't care about your Constitutional Rights and don't have to follow any rules and only are doing it for the money and so the Government will get what they want but can wash their hands of how it was carried out....

Come to my house and it is one bullet at a time. My son has his college engineering degrees and I have no reason not to fight.

What if you were one of the ones ordered to round up the weapons LZ? I suppose you would lose your job for not obeying orders. I don't think you'll have to worry about it in the near future, OK seems to be one of the leading states in belief in State's rights, and is a strong 2nd Amendment supporting state.
I think the what will happen in CT. is some will be glad to do the task hoping to see some "action", while others will refuse. Depends on the attitude of each individual. Oath Keepers needs to really get busy in CT, reminding all Men in Uniform of the oath they took to protect the Constitution, from foreign and DOMESTIC threats.
I for one am glad I live in the South and in Florida, a state with some degree of sanity provided the Fed's keep their collective camel nose out from under our tent. Pun intended!
My county has a very strong locally elected (Supreme law enforcer) who is gun friendly and won't take part in this madness. It can only lead one way and that isn't going to be pretty.
In any event hope for the best but do plan for the worst. In the mean time keep your powder dry. I do fear that at some point they (enemies of the people) will make an attempt to force the issue....they will rue the day that happens! The should be very careful for what they wish for....they just might get it.

It's the use of overwhelming force~ shock and awe.
Unless you are paranoid and post watch there's no way an individual can stand up to that kind of assault.
OH OH !!!! Someone forgot to tell that to the British regulars at Concord and their so very successful march back to Boston in 1775.
Or how about the North Vietnamese in Nam two very different times two hundred years apart and the same outcome.
You all need to learn how to resist and fight. You pick the time and place to fight and make a stand. Seize the initiative. Improvise, adapt, overcome!

I think that will indeed occur, when the people read about the first incursion, like described.
One thing I really like about CT is that road tripping from Colorado to anywhere else in New England it is easy to avoid.

The democrats never do a damn thing until they wet a finger to see which way the wind is blowing. This is just a test. Threaten to vote the MF'ers out of office and see how quickly they change their tune. Gutless commie F'in a-holes. (And, next time I'll tell you what I really think.) :)

knkali, the govt. doesn't seem to pay much attention to the Constitution anymore, especially the Bill of Rights. They make exemptions for this, and for that, until there is hardly anything left. Like searches, now they can search your car if a dog indicates their are drugs in it, which it can be trained to do on command if it doesn't smell anything, so that should be unconstitutional but it's not and used all the time to search cars. They're doing roadside body cavity searches in some areas, even when they haven't found anything incriminating. They've even taken people to a hospital and forced them to take enemas in case they hiding something up their butt. The 2nd Amendment is trampled on regularly, and the courts don't do anything about it. Freedom of speech is a going away, with hate speech laws, and laws prohibiting holding up signs when secret service are present or something to that effect, and if you speak out against the president, the IRS pays you a visit, other instances of it being limited. They spy on us with the NSA. Forfeiture laws allow LEOs to confiscate money, just in case it might be intended to use to buy drugs, and it costs more to get the money back than what you lost.
You are not even safe in your home, if you open the door and a cop bullies his way in past you, without a search warrant, then when you object, he says well you let us in. Our rights are getting picked over until there's not much left. So I don't have much confidence in the "system". We have Legal system, not a Justice system.

I understand your position completely. Unfortunately, the trampling of our rights that you are concerned about is, in most part, demanded by society. You see, people need/want to be governed. Maybe not the forum members here, but many in this country do. They wouldn't know how to act if they were truly free. So while you/we/I loath what's happening, you have to ask yourself how it got this way. Some big paradigm shifts need to happen before anything will correct itself. Most of this happens on a very simplistic level. Until then, things will continue to erode.

Actually the government has been convincing the sheep they need to be "governed". Most are too stupid and lazy to have ever actually demanded it, and they're also too stupid and lazy to make a stand to announce that they never did ask for it.
