I sure in the fokk would not want it in my PMJ9. IMO it cold be a real legalliability thing when u put this sear (if it does what they say it will do) in a gun with zero safey on it. I often question why one would want this on a defense gun. Buy a 1911 and run it clcked and locked, IMO ur about that close with the ossable sear sh!t. I would besurprised if this sear thing ever makes the market. Four sure u would have zero warranty..

Wow, Thanks for the Flames, that's Exactly what I had in mind when I asked a Simple question.. And I personally don't care what You would like in Your gun, that's Not what I asked.. Thanks for trying to make me seem Ignorant.. Perhaps a few common Courtesy lessons are in order...

Jocko didn't need to bother. You just proved your ignorance with that post. Courtesy is a two way street, newbie. Jocko was just giving you his opinion.
It wasn't a command.

The OP asked a legitimate question, I don't see an issue with that.

Golfri & Trooplewis ... pay absolutely no attention to Jocko whatsoever ... none of the rest of us do ... unless we're looking for some good useful information on our Kahrs. You haven't been around long enough to know what I'm talking about yet ... but if you do stick around you'll understand. Oh and pay absolutely no attention to his typing either ... he's kind of sensitive about that subject ... just saying.

Geez Louise boys and girls. Just a little slack. I was sitting here on a wet miserable monday morning and suddenly without warning and for no good reason threw up a little bit in my mouth. Now I know it was tinman channeling.

A little compassion my friends.

I've looked at all four of my Kahrs and can't find this "sear" thingie. Can someone point me in the right direction and describe the "sear".

This is from Wikepedia;

In a firearm, the sear is the part of the trigger mechanism that holds the hammer or striker back until the correct amount of pressure has been applied to the trigger; at which point the hammer or striker is released to discharge the weapon. The sear may be a separate part or can be a surface incorporated into the trigger.

The term "sear" is sometimes incorrectly used to describe a complete trigger group.

dj,ur right . I think what this person might be talkinga bout is the cocking cam in the kahr. There is no sear on kahrs triger, the trigger hooks up directly to the trigger bar wih engages te cocking cam (sear to some). I have no clue what chantges willb e mad eto the kahrs buy this outside firm.

I can't nderstand why peole want to reinvent te wheel. If u want a target trigger/gun but anything buyt a damn kahr. Never was made to do that. Just plain dumb IMO.

sure I was flaming U in particular, just what I think i sthe stupid ass idea of a sear or what ever they come up with to shorten the trigger travel and reset. We already have that in the New P9 and PM9 with enhanced trigger system in it. But mind u which I have said before both of these guns come with an exterrnal safety, for it is now IMO in glock territory with trigger travel etc. IMO highly dangerous with such a 1/4" trigger travel qwith no saFETY.

If u think I flamed u, stick around, I CAN GET BETTER:Amflag2:
