Earlier I was watering some plants out front and saw this tiny thing land on a rock. I grabbed my camera real quick and took a few shots in macro mode.
I looks like it's on the moon or something lol.

That is the little known Killer Grasshopper of Caerbannog!
It is the guardian of the black pebble; and has a vicious streak a mile wide.
The only known way to defeat the beast is to use the Holy handgrenade of Antioch. Thou shalt count to three and and then toss the handgrenade; counting to five is right out.;)

You can sure see the launch mechanism on that thing, I don't see any provision for a controlled landing. Spring board off those hind legs and then hope for a survivable landing?
Good info SAS, I'm not going outside again without a couple grenades.

No landing equipment is necessary, it launches itself with such velocity that it takes your carotid artery right out.:40:
