Not so fast.

It is very common for these tiny DOA pistols to shoot low-left if you're right-handed (low-right, if left-handed). More trigger time will correct the problem.

If you have to move the sight, a brass punch and a drilling hammer works.

Well I'm shooting left handed and it's shooting consistently to the right about 4 inches, I can see the sight from the factory is not centered on the gun it's favored to the right so I'm thinking if I center the rear sight I should be goof

I had exactly the same problem on a PM9. Kahr sights are really tough to adjust yourself. I would send it to Kahr.

I need to adjust my rear right a bit , what do u guys use to move it . . .

The sight pusher we originally purchased for use with 1911 sights works pretty well.

So will a brass or steel punch with a bit of leather padding on the flat tip to protect the surfaces of the sight and the slide.

I usually clamp the slide in a very sturdy vise first, using a couple of pieces of hardwood to prevent the vise jaws from marring the slide. In my experience, it really helps to have the slide held solidly.

Oh, and before you start, I am told that soaking the dovetail area with penetrating oil may help.

Best of luck, sir!

Just brought it to my local gunsmith and he had the correct vise to adjust it! Well worth the 5 dollars for me not to mess up the finish!

These happy ending just sometimes make me cry. I'm glad you got it worked out. Some of the Kahr sites can be wicked tight.

Were gonna start callin ya Misty, Bawanna. I bet you even cried when Old Yeller died. I glad to see that our poster had the sense to have a qualified gunsmith adjust his sights and not some old Jack leg gunsmith whose name I won't mention out of fear of receiving a horse head in the mail. Good choice, lad.

Truth be told the OP did contact me and ask for his contact information. I couldn't get myself to provide. Even though hes new he's too good a man and surly don't deserve that.

I'll clear a spot on the wall for another Trigger clone. Unless I get another carp, I don't care for the fish so much. Don't stay on the wall for beans.

Yup, that would get to me no problem. My mother-in-law sends me packages all the time that are addressed that way. I never open them, though....they make this little ticking sound. So I forward them to Kim Jong-Un. Haven't heard back from him, though. ;)
