I've done a lot of internet searching for a very good IWB holster. At first I thought I wanted a beautiful leather. I wasn't crazy about the Kymex look and I thought it might cause more wear. But the more I look and read, the more I'm thinking about a hybrid. I've seen a lot (pictures only), and I am considering both the SHTF gear Ace and the Theis. Both have excellent service records. The stitching on the SHTF looks really nice. You don't see Kevlar stitching in addition to rivets on other hybrids. However, I'm leaning toward the Theis, because I want the holster to cover most of the gun all the way to the muzzle and that is an option SHTF doesnt offer. Also, Theis offers horsehide leather. I would like to hear comments from those who have experience with either brand. And if you have both......GREAT!

I have Crossbreed minituck hybrids for my P380 and P9. Love them. Only IWB holsters I use anymore. Don't have any experience with any other brands.

Can't say anything about the SHTF, but on the THEIS, They are GREAT!! The service and customer care is above and beyond. Tommy is the man!! Just a great product. I also own a CrossBreed....real nice...just a bit more pricey. You can't go wrong with THEIS.

I've had a Theis for over a year and love it. High quality and comfortable.

Update: I checked with SHTF and their new Kydex is full length cover. The entire holster looks very big, although I don't know if it actually is larger than others.

Bought a Theis from a guy on this site for my Walther. Its an extremely well designed holster. You won't go wrong with one.

Can you can't go wrong with either. Theis, SHTF Gear, and Ozarks Holster Co are the only ones I order hybrid holsters from anymore. Their prices are reasonable, turnaround time is good, and quality is top-notch. I have no preference among the three.

Never heard of Ozarks before but checked out their website and like the looks of his holsters. Just can't decide between a single or double clip. Which do you have and why? BTW, he offers black horsehide. I thought horsehide wouldn't dye well.

I only have a double clip. Never tried the single ones. No real reason other than I use hybrid holsters when I'm carrying for a long period and I think the two clips provide more stability. I have a few single clip leather and kydex IWB holsters that I use for quick trips but no hybrid single clip holster.

Edited to add photos. Also, I normally only buy the natural color hybrids, but I did own one black one for a short time for a P245.
