I'm wanting to get a trigger bar spring for my CW9 however the only place I can find them is from Kahr

That's all well and good but Kahr charges almost 10 dollars to ship a 6 dollar spring? To boot I'm only about 45 minutes from Kahr.....

Little bit of a shipping gouge there. Do any of the bigger places sell them or am I stuck paying 10 bucks for what should cost .49 cents to mail?

Try sending them a self addressed stamped envelop with your payment for the spring enclosed and see what happens. :)

I may give them a call and see if there are any cheaper shipping options. If not maybe order more stuff to justify the shipping!

Kahr has to pay someone to package the part and a shipper to ship the part. They may be able to ship it parcel post, but either way you have to pay.

+1 I vote for buying more stuff to get the most out of the shipping. Have fun! :amflag:

a gun back fed x then tell us about gouging.

Most companies have a flat shipping and handling cost, Wemight not like it but they are not gonna factor in all the things we like. I can give u a good example. HarleyDavidson charges ever dealer the same shipping cost, so if u live 15 miles form York, Pa, ur gonna pay tesame price to what a dealer payts in Alaska or Washington. They figure it is fair to all, one etiehr escepts it for moves on.

Hellu see these ads on TV all the time where u buy sumpin and the they throw in the second one AFREE, just payt shipping and handling. They make money off of that second product merely by te shipping ad handling charges which they do not divulge. IMO kahrs $10 is fair and balancesd. Like most said add more to your order. ease the pain somewhat.
Wolffs guns springs does the smae thing. It is whatit is.:Amflag2:
