If you have a CM9 and a leather holster, you might have an issue!
If you draw the gun directly up, out of holster, you will not have an issue. If your in a rush, and drawing you may drag your gun forward causing the sharp part of the ejector pocket to snag on the leather.

Here's a test, unload your gun, safety first!!
Hold holster in left hand, gun in right and as you pull the gun out rock it forward and the sharp area may gouge into the leather causing a issue removing the gun from holster.

If you ever have to draw your gun under a panic condition, which I hope non of us have too! Your form may go out the window. You will be in a hurry to get the pistol in front of you so it's possible that instead of lifting directly up, then rotating the wrist you might attempt to draw the pistol at a different angle causing this condition.

Furthermore, I have searched for this happening but no luck.
Let me know if you can duplicate my issue, or other thoughts.

Non-issue as far as I'm concerned. YMMV, but that's my vote. :)

I know you meant extractor (ejector is on the inside of the frame by the left frame rail) but the part of the extractor that is raised out when a round is chambered is so small I can't see it causing any problem and does not drag on my leather holster.

You can easily take some emery cloth or fine sandpaper and knock that sharp edge off too. Some find it bothersome just in manipulating the slide and find themselves getting caught or cut on the sharp edge.
I've never heard anyone mention this holster issue before but under the right circumstance I can see it happening.

I went ahead and made a kidex holster and it will not happen again!

It's not an issue. Drawing the gun incorrectly is an issue.

Top front corner of the ejection port !!?? I smoothed that edge over 4 years ago but checking the holster there no rub marks cause from drawing it. So guess mines ok.

The fact that I am a machinist kinda surprises me that the edge is so sharp. I am concerned smoothing it out in any fashion would remove the coating from that area.
I wouldnt mind polishing the upper but that would require new sights and I am just not there yet.
