Found a great condition nickel beretta 84 with the wood presentation grips. Always liked these and the browning BDA.

They are putting it on hold for two weeks till i get paid. Price is 399.99. Sound like an okay deal? Do they even make the 84 anymore??

Thanks.

P.s

I will post pics for u guys when i get it!

Good deal for a fine pistol. Production has stopped on the 84/85. Depending on the year made, some parts can be hard to find. You're going to love this gun. One tip; sometimes reassembly requires you to push the slide assembly the final fraction of an inch. I push down on a soft but firm surface (like a mouse pad).

I carried one of these for a while. It was always reliable. I stayed with it so long because I could shoot it very well. Love this gun!!

Here's mine alongside another nice .380acp pistol. My favorite grips by far are the Farrer grips shown here. The old style smooth grips are good too.

I had an 84fs Italian............used it to qualify for CCL. Sold it...........I was accurate with it for defensive ranges, but not so good at farther distances. The wife couldn't rack the slide, super tight. Nice firearm though, well built, felt nice in the hand. I've always had a thing for Beretta's. Sounds like you got a deal to me.....................

I noticed that this one must be an older version because it didnt have the decocker on it.

Doesnt really matter because this isnt for carry its just gonna be a range toy. ( just bought a cw380 for my carry gun)

By the way, very nice sig you got there! I have always loved the classy looks of the 230/232. I have a couple few walthers in my collection but no sigs yet.

That would make your new pistol a 84B or BB, with the rounded trigger guard, (preferred by some enthusiasts). You don't see many older 84s in nickel... nice find.

My brother-in-law seems to be developing into a Beretta fan: 391 Urika, Cheetah, and just this week, Tomcat. I've had the chance to shoot them all and they are all real good shooters.

Enjoy your good find!

It's a pretty gun, has some nice lines and looks very ergonomic.

Don't see many stainless ones.

Flag down on the play, 37 yard penalty, typing one thing, meaning another.

Into the penalty box 15 minutes. Declined.

My buddy has one a blued one by Berretta, the Cheetah I think it's called. It's been very reliable, although a bit on the large side for CC. It's not much smaller than his Beretta Model 92 Italian made 9mm.

Not a tiny gun but a good bit smaller than a 92 IMHO. I carried a 84 for about 10 years... great gun.

That's a 948 with the other two.

I like the looks of that 948. Never seen one of those... What caliber is it?

What caliber is it?

That one is a .22lr. Look closely on the slide and you may be able to see it. Not a great photographer I'm afraid. The 948 also came in .32acp. This is the model Beretta made in between the 1934 series and the 70 series.

Ripley-

Aww yes now i know what it reminded me of, the beretta Jaguar. I have always wanted one of those. Havent found one yet. I really like the looks of your 948.

I actually found a good deal on the little brother of those ( beretta 950 minx) just yesterday. Bought it for 130.00 ( - :
