Got the CW9 out of jail a few days, went through the prep and lube threads and put 100 rounds down range today. Although I kept an open mind about any hiccups I could possibly encounter during the break in period, I was delighted to find the gun ran flawlessly, ate up factory, and range reloads without a problem. Sights were on point, and the gun is more accurate than I am. Only thing I noticed was a slight tick in the trigger halfway through the travel, firing and during reset. I noticed the spring seems like it gets hung up on the trigger bar at that particular point. Anybody else having this problem?

Glad to see you'se guys are getting out the the range! Maybe spring is coming after all.
Just a guess but check the trigger bar. Sometimes it rubs a little on the retainer spring and a little dab of grease in the right spot can do wonders. There have been other threads about this too so maybe someone will chime in with their results. You may have to remove that access panel above the right grip to see that spring/trigger bar.

Yea there have been a couple threads with videos on the same problem. Mine started to do it when i first got it but after the break-in period seemed to work itself out. If i remember right you can open the clearance gap on the spring but i would definitely shoot it some more to see if it will work out. I know my cw9 did.

Thanks fellas. After removing the cover it was real easy to see that there was a piece of metal burr sticking off the trigger bar that caught on the spring, probably from manufacturing I'm assuming. Was able to clean it up enough to remove the point it was sticking too, smooth as butter.
